Mt Barker Community Windfarm;
13/6/2009 Traditional Owners visit the site and walk the route of the underground cable to all three turbine locations.
5/6/2009 The third and final drilling finishes. Core samples are part of the geotechnical studies and are required to determine the type of foundation the soils will support. Results are very encouraging.
22/4/2009 Funding to $4.2million for the Mt Barker Windfarm gets announced by Federal Environment Minister, Peter Garrett. |
